Shoal Coffee Table

A small coffee table in walnut. The top is one elongated piece with a soft, uneven outline — nearer a river stone than a rectangle — with a thin rounded edge all the way round.

It stands on two broad timber slabs rather than legs, open underneath, with the slab ends showing at the top surface where they meet it. The joint is left visible.

Small enough to sit in front of a two-seat sofa without filling the walkway.
